- Solid flooring is a single layer of heavy duty, high quality luxury floorboard – the ultimate in authenticity. Raw materials have been sourced by our family business. The moisture content at the time of manufacturing is carefully controlled to ensure the product does not warp during transport and storage.
- Enoak preferred installers take care to ensure that the correct installation process is respected when laying solid French oak timber flooring, giving you a professional and timeless finish that respects Australia standards and the Australian environment.
- Engineered wood flooring consists of two or more layers of wood adhered together to form a plank. Typically, engineered oak wood flooring uses a thin layer (lamella) of high grade oak wood bonded to a core constructed from plywood. The increased stability of engineered wood is achieved by running each layer at a 90° angle to the layer above.
- Enoak generally advises the use of engineered French oak flooring when a client wishes to install underfloor heating or the flooring is going to laid in an environment where humidity could be particularly high. Stains and finishes available to complete the aesthetic of the French oak flooring.
